I ended up having to return a lens because I’d ordered the wrong fit. I emailed them and they got back to me quickly with clear instructions on what to do. The refund came through a few days after they received it back, and there were no awkward questions or hassle at all. it was a much smoother returns process than I expected...

"Finally found the camera I wanted"
I’d been trying to get hold of a certain camera for days and everywhere else either had no stock or some ridiculous wait time. Cotswold Cameras said it was available, and since the website looked normal enough, I figured that was a good sign. Ordered it, everything went through without any drama, and it turned up when they said it would. I was just relieved because I’d convinced myself it was basically impossible to find. Really happy with it and I’d use them again.

I had a couple of questions before buying, so I messaged Cotswold Cameras to check stock and delivery times. To be fair, they got back to me quickly and answered everything clearly, without any pushy sales talk. I know some people might be cautious about ordering camera gear online, and I was too, but their replies made me feel a lot more confident about going ahead. I haven’t received the camera yet, so I can only comment on the pre-sale help for now, but so far I’m very happy.

I’m really pleased with my experience. Ordering was straightforward, everything went smoothly, and the camera turned up in perfect condition. I know some people are always quick to assume there’ll be a problem, but in my case there was absolutely no hassle at all. I’d happily use cotswoldcameras.co.uk again.

I had a couple of questions before ordering from Cotswold Cameras, and to be fair, they did get back to me fairly quickly. They were polite and didn’t make me feel like I was bothering them, which I appreciated. That said, some of the communication could’ve been clearer — I had to read one reply a couple of times to figure out exactly what they meant, which was a bit annoying when I was just trying to make a decision. One response also took longer than I’d hoped. Overall though, they were easy enough to deal with and the customer service was decent.

It showed up really clean and looked barely used, like something someone maybe kept in a guest room, used once or twice, or just took out of the box and put back. No weird marks, no dusty corners, no missing pieces, no surprise scratches, basically exactly as described. I always worry listings will make things sound better than they are, but this was totally accurate

"Fair price, but not sure I’d fully trust them again"
I bought a used lens from Cotswold Cameras and, to be fair, the price was really decent. The condition matched the listing and the lens works fine, so on paper it was good value compared with other places I looked. That said, something about the whole experience left me a bit less confident than I expected, so while the product itself was fine, my trust in buying from them again isn’t quite as solid as I’d hoped.

I ordered a lens from Cotswold Cameras and, i was half expecting some extra import fee to appear at the door like it sometimes does with other sellers. To be fair, they were clear from the start about what was covered, and there wasn’t any surprise bill when it arrived. Delivery was pretty much as they said too. Nice, straightforward experience and I’d use them again

I found the camera cheaper here than on a few of the bigger sites, which was a nice surprise. Delivery was okay, though not exactly super fast, so I did have to wait a bit longer than I’d hoped. Still, for the price I paid, I’m happy enough with the whole experience and would probably use them again.
